Post Remember me?
Hi all. I was surprised to find a new forum (and a need to register) here at TLOH. Nice work on the site, I like joomla myself.

Well, for those of you who might remember me, I left the game to return to WoW at the urgings of a RL friend. I had missed some things from WoW here in LOTRO (hunters with pets, their secondary trade skill system, and a few other tidbits) and that coupled with a RL friend enjoying the game I decided to give it another shot.

I much enjoyed their recent expansion and managed to hit the level cap (for the first time in any game) with my Horde Paladin. I've been enjoying exploring the game, the achievement system, etc.

However, the economic downturn has impacted my family as well. Though 15 dollars a month is not alot, it's hard to justify when money gets tight, especially when you own a lifetime membership in another game.

So I returned to the game the other day. I discovered there had been alot of changes which I'm interested in exploring. I also learned that I'd completely forgotten how to play my Guardian. LOL. I decided to start a new character to re-learn things. Having been surprised by the que delays getting into the game I thought I'd try Vilya, which was a newer and hopefully lower population server.

I have to say I was surprised to see all the things that have happened here. I don't know what all lead to these splits, and I honestly don't want to try to figure it out. Guild / Kinship issues happen. The real life people in MMOs make the games worth playing, but they also cause the drama and issues that we see time and time again. It's something we addicts have learned to live with and do our best to say out of the line of fire of.

So, while Gillimer still exists, I'm mostly playing Bullwark, a new Hobbit Guardian on Vilya. If anyone has alts on that server or a desire to check it out, please feel free to look me up (my alt there is named Maullarky). Also, if you see Gillimer or Epicurean log on here PLEASE feel free to say hello.

I hope to hear from my old friends, both those who remain and those who left TLOH. as for me, since I'm not playing much on this server at this time, I don't really have to decide about staying or leaving TLOH. Gilli and Epic will remain, though they won't be around much. And being they are no where near the level cap, I don't really see a reason to inquire about the new guild.

I do want to check out LOFs forums though.

Hope to hear from all of you! 8-)

Sorry we never met Gillimer, glad you made it back to LOTRO. Sorry we won't be seeing you on our server though :-(

Well folks, I guess I spoke to soon.

I decided I'd leave as well. Sorry for the confusion.
